2017 RENWICK COMMUNITY HARVEST PARTY

Love being involved in local events, so really excited for the Renwick Community Harvest Party on Saturday 25th March, from 4-7pm, at Rousehill Reserve. We will have our latest releases available for tasting including the 2016 Marlborough Pinot Gris, 2016 Marlborough Rose and the 2015 Marlborough Pinot Noir. Last year was a lot of fun and it would be great to see you this weekend to share a few nibbles, wines and laughs.

SAM KIM’S THOUGHTS ON OUR 2015 MARLBOROUGH AND TWIN VALLEYS CHARDONNAY

Mahi Marlborough Chardonnay 2015                         93  & 5 stars A beautifully composed chardonnay, the fragrant bouquet shows ripe stone fruit, nougat, lemon peel, vanilla and subtle cedar characters. The palate is succulent and rounded, and delivers excellent fruit intensity, wonderfully enhanced by creamy texture and bright acidity. The wine shows fruit richness as well as savoury complexity, making the wine both stylish and delicious. At its best: now to 2020. Mahi Twin Valleys Chardonnay 2015                             94  & 5 stars This is magnificently styled, exhibiting complex aromas of nectarine, fig, brioche, hazelnut and vanilla on the nose. The palate is concentrated and superbly weighted with rich texture and excellent fruit power. The wine offers expansive mouthfeel and layers of delicious flavours, wonderfully supported by elegant savoury complexity. At its best: now to 2021. $39.00.

Mahi ‘Twin Valleys’ Chardonnay 2015    18.5/20   5 stars Bright straw-yellow colour…
