See behind closed doors and gain an in-depth understanding and insight into the wine making process at Mahi. You will have the place to yourselves as you are guided through a tailored tasting of five wines selected for your palate, a walk through the barrel hall, and a cave cellar excursion.
We offer two private wine experiences at Mahi; a one hour tasting of our current releases, and a two hour deep dive into our single vineyard winemaking process.
The Mahi Experience
The Deep Dive
Join us in the cellar door for an educational journey through our current release wines. Focusing on the unique winemaking opportunities we have in Marlborough, this tasting shows how diverse the exciting the wines from the region can be and finishes with a tour of our barrel hall and caves.

Price: $50pp
Taste from our library of Single Vineyard wines and compare wines from around the region to get a real taste of why we make wines the way we do. You will get the chance to taste wine straight from the barrel as we give you an exclusive look at our yet to be released wines.
Time: 120min
Price: $100pp
The cellar door is not open to the public, so it is important that you book in advance.
We host tastings at 11am and 2pm, Tuesday to Saturday, subject to winery requirements (if we’re needed in the cellar, we may have to find another day that works).
A minimum of two people is required to secure a booking.
