Warren Adamson joins Mahi

We are very excited to announce that Warren Adamson will be joining Mahi to assist with our European and Middle East sales and management.

As Mahi continues to grow in terms of distribution it means that I cannot manage all of our markets in person, so it is great to be able to bring on board someone of Warren’s experience and calibre.

I first met Warren at Vinexpo ‘97. After spending days on the stands, and evenings around Bordeaux, talking and tasting wine I was amazed to find Warren at the airport, as we were about to leave, reading ‘Making Good Wine’ by Bryce Rankin, a classic winemaking text. I thought at the time that anyone who could talk wine for four days and nights, and still be studying it at the airport, must be a good person and I would like to work with them.

It has taken 22 years but my thought has finally been realised and Warren’s role will be to assist our agents in growing both their business and Mahi. After years in this role for wineries such as Jackson Family Wines, Craggy Range, New Zealand Winegrowers and Villa Maria, I know he will assist, rather than annoy, our distribution partners.

I will remain a key contact and Warren already has a great understanding of our wines and what we are aiming to achieve. In that regard he is currently visiting us at the winery to see the vineyards, taste older vintages, and soak up the feel and culture of Mahi.
