SUPPLY OF LIQUOR TO MINORS

Liquor laws vary between countries, states and local government areas. It is your responsibility to ensure your access to and use of this Site is lawful in your local area.

In New Zealand, you must be 18 years or older to access this Site. If you are in New Zealand and are not yet 18, please exit the Site immediately.

SHOP

Our web shop is available to New Zealand Customers only. For international orders, please get in touch with max@mahiwine.co.nz and we will get you in touch with our distributors.

For customers in New Zealand:

  • You must be 18 years or older to purchase wine from our site;

  • Age identification may be required before delivery of your purchase will be completed; and

  • Your order may be declined and refunded if we are uncertain whether you meet the age requirement.

Occasionally, we may be unable to fulfil an order placed online, including because of stock shortages or issues with delivery. We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders placed online, for any reason.

ISSUES WITH ORDERS/CUSTOMER SERVICE

RETURNS POLICY

If you are not completely satisfied with the product, contact max@mahiwine.co.nz. We will arrange to pick up the remaining unopened bottles as well as the bottle you are unhappy with. We will test the wines and, if faulty, will replace your order in full. Please note, this must be done within 30 days of the purchase date.

CREDIT CARD INFORMATION

“Mahi Wines” will appear on card holder statements for any credit card transactions made through this website.

DELIVERY CHARGES

For deliveries within New Zealand, the cost of freight is included in the purchase price for all orders over $180.00, or any order if you are part of our Wine Club. For all other domestic orders there is a $15.00 courier charge. For deliveries outside of New Zealand we will contact the purchaser with a price for delivery. If the delivery price is not accepted or another arrangement agreed, the order will be cancelled and any money paid will be refunded.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

All deliveries within New Zealand are by courier and direct to your door. The courier will require a signature upon delivery. If no one is home, he or she will leave a card requesting that you contact the Courier office to arrange a suitable delivery time. Special delivery instructions will need to be given at the time of ordering be given e.g.: leave goods at the back door. We take no responsibility for loss of goods once delivered.

Any shortages or breakages must be reported to us within 24 hours, by email max@mahiwine.co.nz and quoting your receipt number. Please note: All goods are insured up until the point of delivery: Until a signature is obtained or wherever the goods are left as per your special delivery instructions.

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and inclusive of GST.
