WARD FARM Vineyard

Possibly our most extreme vineyard as it is our furthest vineyard from the winery, about 45 minutes drive, and is our coolest, and therefore last to harvest.

We have worked with the fruit from this vineyard since 2006 and it is now owned and run by Sara Davis and Andrew Craig. The site is very unique and is exposed to the cool southerlies that both keep the crops low and also slow the ripening meaning the fruit is very intense.

The Sauvignon is planted on a north facing slope and the Pinot Gris, a mixture of four clones, and Pinot Noir, three clones, is on the parcel in front of the house.
